The day of judgment is a time when people are standing on a circular loaf of bread and no hills or valleys. The hold is created by actions of the creator, and length is measured by the distance between the creator and their followers. The holy month is a time when people drink from the blessed hand of the holy god, and people are supposed to stay steadfast on their worship. The importance of following the sun prais and not changing one's worship is emphasized.

00:00:00--> 00:00:02

And when does the hold come about on

00:00:02--> 00:00:03

the day of judgment? When does it take

00:00:03--> 00:00:04

place?

00:00:04--> 00:00:06

See, this is the scenario.

00:00:07--> 00:00:09

After the people have been resurrected from their

00:00:09--> 00:00:09

graves,

00:00:10--> 00:00:12

trillions upon trillions only Allah

00:00:12--> 00:00:13

knows they jack them out. This is from

00:00:13--> 00:00:14

the time of Adam

00:00:15--> 00:00:17

up until the last person to walk the

00:00:17--> 00:00:20

face of this earth. They stand on the

00:00:20--> 00:00:21

plains of the day of judgment,

00:00:22--> 00:00:23

which is going to be an earth, but

00:00:23--> 00:00:25

it's different to the earth that we stand

00:00:25--> 00:00:26

on now. Allah

00:00:27--> 00:00:27

says,

00:00:29--> 00:00:32

on the day of judgment, Allah he exchanges

00:00:33--> 00:00:35

this earth that we're standing on now to

00:00:35--> 00:00:37

another earth. In the hadith, it says that

00:00:37--> 00:00:38

it

00:00:39--> 00:00:39

is

00:00:40--> 00:00:42

It's like a loaf of bread, a circular

00:00:42--> 00:00:44

loaf of bread, and it's white. There is

00:00:44--> 00:00:46

no hills on it, and there's no valleys

00:00:46--> 00:00:49

on it as well. As a plain, flat,

00:00:49--> 00:00:51

smooth surface at a land. People stand on

00:00:51--> 00:00:52

it.

00:00:52--> 00:00:55

And it is going to be really, really

00:00:55--> 00:00:57

crowded to the point when Nabi salallahu alaihi

00:00:57--> 00:01:00

wa sallam says that there is only space

00:01:00--> 00:01:01

for your 2 feet to stand.

00:01:02--> 00:01:04

Well, the people are naked on that day

00:01:04--> 00:01:06

and the sun, as mentioned in the hadith,

00:01:08--> 00:01:10

That it is away from their heads, the

00:01:10--> 00:01:13

distance of a meal. Now a meal, there's

00:01:13--> 00:01:16

2 understandings for it. A meal could mean

00:01:17--> 00:01:19

1 mile, the distance of 1 mile, and

00:01:19--> 00:01:20

it also

00:01:20--> 00:01:23

the second opinion is the more correct that

00:01:23--> 00:01:24

in the Arabic language,

00:01:25--> 00:01:27

it refers to the, to the length of

00:01:27--> 00:01:29

the eye of the needle. So you have

00:01:29--> 00:01:31

a needle and then you have the eye

00:01:31--> 00:01:32

of the needle where the string goes through.

00:01:32--> 00:01:34

That there, the eye of the needle is

00:01:34--> 00:01:37

called a in the Arabic language. So, that's

00:01:37--> 00:01:38

a few millimeters.

00:01:38--> 00:01:40

The sun is above the head of the

00:01:40--> 00:01:41

creation a few millimeters

00:01:41--> 00:01:43

And they're all sweating according to what deeds

00:01:43--> 00:01:45

and they have.

00:01:45--> 00:01:47

It's hot, it's terrifying, it is horrifying.

00:01:48--> 00:01:49

No one is talking. Allah

00:01:50--> 00:01:50

He says,

00:01:52--> 00:01:54

No one is even moving. Allah

00:01:55--> 00:01:57

he asks the question in the Quran. Do

00:01:57--> 00:01:59

you even see for any of them any

00:01:59--> 00:01:59

movement?

00:02:02--> 00:02:04

Or do you hear any sound from any

00:02:04--> 00:02:04

one of them?

00:02:05--> 00:02:07

Absolute silence. No one dares to speak a

00:02:07--> 00:02:08

single word.

00:02:10--> 00:02:10

He says,

00:02:13--> 00:02:16

that you'll not even hear except You

00:02:18--> 00:02:21

will not hear a single word or a

00:02:21--> 00:02:22

single sound

00:02:22--> 00:02:25

except whispers that they whisper to each other.

00:02:28--> 00:02:29

Very soft

00:02:39--> 00:02:41

for just a drop of water to quench

00:02:41--> 00:02:43

their thirst. It is at that moment,

00:02:43--> 00:02:46

before the mizam, before the scales come out,

00:02:46--> 00:02:48

and before the Surah, the people walk on

00:02:48--> 00:02:50

the Surah to say, oh, this is before

00:02:50--> 00:02:50

all that.

00:02:51--> 00:02:54

At that moment, al Hawb, which is a

00:02:54--> 00:02:54

pond,

00:02:55--> 00:02:58

and this is for every single nation alongside

00:02:58--> 00:03:00

with their prophet, will be presented.

00:03:06--> 00:03:08

For each and every single prophet, there's a

00:03:08--> 00:03:09

special hope.

00:03:09--> 00:03:10

The

00:03:11--> 00:03:13

is different to the whole of Nuhadayasalam.

00:03:13--> 00:03:16

All the whole of Ibrahim alayhi sallam is

00:03:16--> 00:03:18

different to the whole of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi

00:03:18--> 00:03:19

wasallam.

00:03:19--> 00:03:21

And every prophet will be standing at his

00:03:21--> 00:03:22

home,

00:03:22--> 00:03:25

and his followers go go to his home.

00:03:25--> 00:03:27

So on the home of Rasool Allah sallallahu

00:03:27--> 00:03:29

alaihi wa sallam, you will not find people

00:03:29--> 00:03:31

from other nations. You will only find people

00:03:31--> 00:03:33

from this Ummah of Rasulullah Sallallahu

00:03:33--> 00:03:35

Alaihi Wasallam. And in the continuation of the

00:03:35--> 00:03:37

hadith and the Musa Alaihi Wasallam, he says,

00:03:45--> 00:03:47

and indeed the prophets are going to be

00:03:47--> 00:03:50

competing to see which one of them will

00:03:50--> 00:03:52

have the most followers, and the most people

00:03:52--> 00:03:54

that would arrive to their home. When Nabi

00:03:54--> 00:03:56

salallahu alaihi wasallam, he says, and I hope

00:03:57--> 00:03:58

that I am the one with the most

00:03:58--> 00:04:01

people and the most followers. And in other

00:04:01--> 00:04:01

words, the prophet

00:04:03--> 00:04:05

they compete on the day of judgement to

00:04:05--> 00:04:07

see who has the most followers.

00:04:07--> 00:04:09

And the more followers, the more people on

00:04:09--> 00:04:12

the hope, it makes that prophet more pleased

00:04:12--> 00:04:14

because he has followers

00:04:14--> 00:04:15

before Allah

00:04:16--> 00:04:18

And so the event of the hope, it

00:04:18--> 00:04:21

happens before the mizad, before the salah.

00:04:21--> 00:04:23

Now where is this how?

00:04:24--> 00:04:25

We'll speak about this.

00:04:25--> 00:04:27

We're coming to it. But where is this

00:04:27--> 00:04:30

how the one day, he said,

00:04:36--> 00:04:38

He said that between my house and my

00:04:38--> 00:04:40

mibar, between my house and my pulpit,

00:04:41--> 00:04:43

there it is a garden from the gardens

00:04:43--> 00:04:44

of the paradise.

00:04:45--> 00:04:45

When

00:04:46--> 00:04:48

they translated and explained this hadith, they said

00:04:48--> 00:04:49

literally,

00:04:50--> 00:04:50

you

00:04:51--> 00:04:52

know,

00:04:52--> 00:04:55

that area is literally a piece of the

00:04:55--> 00:04:57

paradise. What that means is that when the

00:04:57--> 00:04:59

worldly life exists,

00:05:00--> 00:05:03

it ends when the worldly life ends, that

00:05:03--> 00:05:05

part doesn't get destroyed. It is like the

00:05:05--> 00:05:07

missing piece of the puzzle in the paradise.

00:05:07--> 00:05:09

It'll be lifted from where it is, and

00:05:09--> 00:05:11

it'll go and connect back to where it

00:05:11--> 00:05:13

came from, from the paradise. This is what

00:05:13--> 00:05:13

it means.

00:05:16--> 00:05:18

Then the prophet he says,

00:05:20--> 00:05:21

my my pulpit,

00:05:22--> 00:05:24

it is on my hold. It is on

00:05:24--> 00:05:26

this pond. Now what does that mean? There

00:05:26--> 00:05:29

are two meanings for this. Number 1, it

00:05:29--> 00:05:30

could mean that on the day of judgment,

00:05:31--> 00:05:34

Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, he makes a special,

00:05:35--> 00:05:38

a special pulpit for Rasulullah salallahu alaihi wasalam

00:05:38--> 00:05:41

and he places it at the top, at

00:05:41--> 00:05:42

the front of the haud when Nabi salallahu

00:05:42--> 00:05:45

alaihi wasalam stands on it and he sees

00:05:45--> 00:05:47

everything that is happening to his nation.

00:05:47--> 00:05:49

And the other meaning is, and some of

00:05:49--> 00:05:52

the ulama said this, that the mimbar that

00:05:52--> 00:05:54

he used to stand on and he used

00:05:54--> 00:05:55

to deliver his

00:05:56--> 00:05:57

on, it will be brought on the day

00:05:57--> 00:05:59

of judgment and it will be placed on

00:05:59--> 00:06:02

top of the. And he will stand on

00:06:02--> 00:06:03

it and he will see his nation and

00:06:03--> 00:06:06

those who come to drink from, from Al

00:06:06--> 00:06:06

Hawb. How

00:06:09--> 00:06:11

we as he said this to the Sahaba,

00:06:11--> 00:06:13

he meant that this member I'm standing on

00:06:13--> 00:06:15

now that you all see it, it'll come

00:06:15--> 00:06:17

and it will be resurrected on the day

00:06:17--> 00:06:19

of judgment. I will stand on it there

00:06:19--> 00:06:20

and it will be placed on my hold

00:06:20--> 00:06:22

and I will see everything. When Nabi salallahu

00:06:22--> 00:06:24

alaihi wa sallam mentioned in the hadith,

00:06:25--> 00:06:27

once when he stood on the mimbar, he

00:06:27--> 00:06:27

said,

00:06:30--> 00:06:32

this is before he died

00:06:33--> 00:06:35

He said, and I see my hold right

00:06:35--> 00:06:36

now.

00:06:37--> 00:06:39

This hadith there is a proof that the

00:06:39--> 00:06:41

hold already is created. It exists. And on

00:06:41--> 00:06:43

the day of judgment, it will be presented

00:06:43--> 00:06:45

before the believers for them to see it

00:06:45--> 00:06:47

and come towards it. Now what is

00:06:48--> 00:06:50

and what is? What is the difference between

00:06:50--> 00:06:52

them? And then what is the relationship between

00:06:52--> 00:06:54

them? My brothers and sisters in Islam, there

00:06:54--> 00:06:55

are many a hadith,

00:06:55--> 00:06:57

authentic a hadith,

00:06:58--> 00:06:59

that describe the

00:07:00--> 00:07:01

exactly like the

00:07:02--> 00:07:03

hold so that they're exactly the same in

00:07:03--> 00:07:06

their description. The hadith would say,

00:07:08--> 00:07:10

that the water that is in

00:07:11--> 00:07:12

is wider than milk,

00:07:13--> 00:07:15

and the water in the is also wider

00:07:15--> 00:07:17

than milk. And it's sweeter than honey. And

00:07:17--> 00:07:20

its fragrance is sweeter than musk. These are

00:07:20--> 00:07:23

hadith sahih. Now when it comes specifically to

00:07:25--> 00:07:26

he described

00:07:26--> 00:07:27

it

00:07:27--> 00:07:28

by

00:07:29--> 00:07:29

saying,

00:07:30--> 00:07:31

He said that

00:07:31--> 00:07:33

is a river in the paradise

00:07:33--> 00:07:35

in which its banks

00:07:36--> 00:07:38

are made of gold. On the other side,

00:07:38--> 00:07:40

it is made of gold. And in another

00:07:40--> 00:07:42

hadith, he says that on either sides, there

00:07:42--> 00:07:44

are tents made from hollow

00:07:45--> 00:07:47

pearls. Yeah. They're like a huge sized pearl,

00:07:47--> 00:07:49

and it is hollow from inside and people

00:07:49--> 00:07:52

live inside, they reside in those pearls. And

00:07:52--> 00:07:53

then in

00:07:54--> 00:07:54

the he said,

00:07:57--> 00:07:58

that the water

00:07:59--> 00:08:01

of this kofar, it flows over pearls and

00:08:01--> 00:08:04

precious stones like the ruby and the sapphire

00:08:04--> 00:08:06

and so on that is underneath it. And

00:08:06--> 00:08:07

then he

00:08:07--> 00:08:07

said,

00:08:09--> 00:08:12

that the the soul that is underneath is

00:08:12--> 00:08:13

more pure than musk

00:08:13--> 00:08:15

and it's and it's water is sweeter than

00:08:15--> 00:08:18

honey, and it's water is also wider than

00:08:18--> 00:08:21

than milk. This is the description of Al

00:08:21--> 00:08:21

Kofar.

00:08:22--> 00:08:24

Well, Haub, this is what al Haub is.

00:08:24--> 00:08:26

Nabi sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, he says about

00:08:26--> 00:08:27

the Haub.

00:08:28--> 00:08:28

He says,

00:08:30--> 00:08:32

he says that it is sourced

00:08:32--> 00:08:33

from Al Koffar.

00:08:35--> 00:08:37

A sourced from Al Koffar. And he says

00:08:41--> 00:08:42

clearly this is what it is.

00:08:42--> 00:08:44

Al Hawb is going to be on the

00:08:44--> 00:08:46

plains of the day of judgment, on the

00:08:46--> 00:08:47

earth.

00:08:47--> 00:08:49

Well, is a river in the paradise

00:08:50--> 00:08:52

and there is a pipe that is streaming

00:08:52--> 00:08:53

from

00:08:53--> 00:08:56

down into Al Hawb. There are 2 pipes.

00:08:56--> 00:08:58

One is made of gold and the other

00:08:58--> 00:08:59

is made of silver.

00:09:00--> 00:09:02

And so the water from Al Koffar, it

00:09:02--> 00:09:03

streams down these pipes

00:09:04--> 00:09:05

and it fills the hold on the day

00:09:05--> 00:09:08

of judgment. And so this is how

00:09:09--> 00:09:11

the same because it is channeled and it

00:09:11--> 00:09:13

is fed. It's sourced. Al Hawd Al Hawd

00:09:14--> 00:09:15

is sourced by Al Hawd Al Hawd Al

00:09:15--> 00:09:17

Hawd as mentioned in the authentic hadith of

00:09:17--> 00:09:18

Rasool

00:09:18--> 00:09:18

Allah

00:09:19--> 00:09:21

For this is what we understand. And how

00:09:21--> 00:09:22

old is that which happens on the day

00:09:22--> 00:09:24

of judgement, on the plain, on the earth?

00:09:24--> 00:09:27

Well, is that which is up in the

00:09:27--> 00:09:29

heavens and it's sourced. That's how we understand

00:09:30--> 00:09:31

the difference between.

00:09:32--> 00:09:34

The size of now, there are hadith that

00:09:34--> 00:09:36

mentioned to us the size of

00:09:36--> 00:09:39

And Nabi salallahu alaihi wa sallam, he says,

00:09:42--> 00:09:44

And in another narration, he says,

00:09:47--> 00:09:50

2 authentic narrations. In Nabi he

00:09:50--> 00:09:53

says, that my hope, the distance of it

00:09:53--> 00:09:56

is like between the Kaaba and Jerusalem.

00:09:57--> 00:09:59

Where in the other hadith, he says,

00:10:00--> 00:10:02

In other words, the length of the hold

00:10:02--> 00:10:04

is the distance of 1 month for the

00:10:04--> 00:10:07

rider on a fast horse. It'll take 1

00:10:07--> 00:10:09

month to go from one side of it

00:10:09--> 00:10:11

to the other side. And then, Nabi sah

00:10:11--> 00:10:12

alaihi salami, he said

00:10:14--> 00:10:15

meaning its lengths

00:10:16--> 00:10:17

are all the same. What does that make

00:10:17--> 00:10:20

the how? It makes the hold in a

00:10:20--> 00:10:21

square shape.

00:10:22--> 00:10:24

Meaning the hold is a square.

00:10:25--> 00:10:26

And so going from one corner to the

00:10:26--> 00:10:29

other is 1 month. And going from one

00:10:29--> 00:10:30

corner to the other is another month, and

00:10:30--> 00:10:32

from one corner to the other, and the

00:10:32--> 00:10:34

four corners and the four edges are all

00:10:34--> 00:10:35

the same in length. Huge.

00:10:39--> 00:10:41

When he says, it is full of cups,

00:10:42--> 00:10:44

and it's full of jugs equal to the

00:10:44--> 00:10:46

number of stars that you see on a

00:10:46--> 00:10:48

dark night. And if you go out to

00:10:48--> 00:10:50

the desert, not here. Here now, you cannot

00:10:50--> 00:10:52

see. You probably can only see 2, 3

00:10:52--> 00:10:54

stars because of the light pollution and so

00:10:54--> 00:10:55

on. I mean, if you go to the

00:10:55--> 00:10:56

desert,

00:10:56--> 00:10:58

really far from here, where there is absolutely

00:10:58--> 00:11:01

no pollution and no light to irritate or

00:11:01--> 00:11:03

to disturb your vision of the sky,

00:11:03--> 00:11:04

you would see,

00:11:05--> 00:11:06

you would see

00:11:06--> 00:11:09

millions and millions and millions of stars all

00:11:09--> 00:11:11

costed right next to each other.

00:11:17--> 00:11:18

And then

00:11:18--> 00:11:20

he says that a day will come in

00:11:20--> 00:11:22

which everyone will be drinking from it, and

00:11:22--> 00:11:24

it will be that crowded and that busy.

00:11:25--> 00:11:26

What

00:11:26--> 00:11:28

it also means when Nabi salallahu alaihi wa

00:11:28--> 00:11:31

sallam says that its cups are equal to

00:11:31--> 00:11:32

the number of stars.

00:11:32--> 00:11:34

Some of the they

00:11:34--> 00:11:36

interpreted this to mean

00:11:36--> 00:11:38

that the hold itself, it twinkles

00:11:39--> 00:11:40

like the

00:11:40--> 00:11:43

stars during the night twinkle. Right? So it

00:11:43--> 00:11:45

was mentioned as a reference of of,

00:11:46--> 00:11:49

of how bright it is and how beautiful

00:11:56--> 00:11:57

correct opinion is to say that there are

00:11:57--> 00:11:59

many cups for it so that the believers

00:11:59--> 00:12:01

drink from it. When Nabi sah alaihi salam

00:12:01--> 00:12:01

says,

00:12:05--> 00:12:07

anyone who came by

00:12:07--> 00:12:10

and drank from it, will never ever experience

00:12:11--> 00:12:13

first ever again in his life. What does

00:12:13--> 00:12:16

that mean? Meaning, when this person eventually enters

00:12:16--> 00:12:16

the paradise,

00:12:17--> 00:12:18

and when he drinks from the rivers of

00:12:18--> 00:12:21

the paradise, he doesn't drink to quench his

00:12:21--> 00:12:21

thirst.

00:12:22--> 00:12:24

Drinking in the paradise would now become purely

00:12:25--> 00:12:27

a matter of pleasure and enjoyment, and that's

00:12:27--> 00:12:30

it. Not out of thirst. For Heather, what

00:12:30--> 00:12:31

is mentioned meant by

00:12:33--> 00:12:35

And there's something very important to to highlight

00:12:35--> 00:12:38

on, and that there is no narration even

00:12:38--> 00:12:40

though this is famous among the people, but

00:12:40--> 00:12:41

there is no narration

00:12:41--> 00:12:42

that was reported

00:12:43--> 00:12:44

that the people will drink from the blessed

00:12:44--> 00:12:45

hand of Rasulullah

00:12:47--> 00:12:49

And from that, we understand that it is

00:12:49--> 00:12:51

wrong when one makes a dua to say

00:12:51--> 00:12:54

and, provide for us a drink from the

00:12:54--> 00:12:57

blessed hands of Rasulullah salallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:12:57--> 00:12:58

You heed this dua sometimes

00:12:59--> 00:13:00

they make

00:13:04--> 00:13:06

There is nothing in the hadith for authentic

00:13:06--> 00:13:08

narrations to even suggest that

00:13:10--> 00:13:11

would give the people to drink from his

00:13:11--> 00:13:12

hand.

00:13:12--> 00:13:13

They

00:13:13--> 00:13:16

said that the cups are in the pond

00:13:16--> 00:13:18

for a reason, and that is so that

00:13:18--> 00:13:19

the people drink from it. And then it

00:13:19--> 00:13:21

is not befitting for Rasulullah

00:13:21--> 00:13:22

to

00:13:23--> 00:13:24

give each and every single person,

00:13:25--> 00:13:27

a drink from his hand. Yeah. I mean,

00:13:27--> 00:13:27

as

00:13:29--> 00:13:30

for they they,

00:13:30--> 00:13:31

they actually,

00:13:31--> 00:13:32

yeah. I mean, they considered

00:13:33--> 00:13:35

making that kind of

00:13:36--> 00:13:38

crossing the limits in dua.

00:13:39--> 00:13:41

Rather, one, when he makes a dua, he

00:13:41--> 00:13:42

should ask Allah

00:13:42--> 00:13:44

to grant him permission and the ability to

00:13:44--> 00:13:48

drink from the without mentioning from the and

00:13:48--> 00:13:51

so on. Unless there is a narration which

00:13:52--> 00:13:54

mentioned that there is no narration in that.

00:13:57--> 00:13:58

How many of us make this dua? There

00:13:58--> 00:14:01

was they they mentioned that there

00:14:01--> 00:14:03

was a lady that

00:14:04--> 00:14:06

each and every single salat, her children would

00:14:06--> 00:14:08

hear her make this

00:14:14--> 00:14:14

dua.

00:14:17--> 00:14:19

Is this a part of your life.

00:14:21--> 00:14:24

The first it is the first place where

00:14:24--> 00:14:26

you would actually meet face to face

00:14:27--> 00:14:29

in the It'll be at the hope. In

00:14:29--> 00:14:30

fact, when you ask Allah

00:14:31--> 00:14:33

to grant you a drink from an hope,

00:14:33--> 00:14:34

meaning ask Allah

00:14:34--> 00:14:36

to also give you that, yeah, that contact

00:14:36--> 00:14:39

and that face to face connection with Rasulullah

00:14:41--> 00:14:43

Now at how the who will drink from

00:14:43--> 00:14:45

it first? There are hadith that mentioned this

00:14:45--> 00:14:46

as well. When

00:14:47--> 00:14:49

basically, in a hadith, he says that the

00:14:49--> 00:14:51

most pious would drink from it first.

00:14:51--> 00:14:52

But that is Abu

00:14:53--> 00:14:53

Bakr.

00:14:55--> 00:14:55

And

00:14:56--> 00:14:56

then

00:14:57--> 00:14:58

from

00:14:58--> 00:14:59

there,

00:14:59--> 00:15:01

they will be the first to drink from

00:15:01--> 00:15:01

it.

00:15:01--> 00:15:03

Then after that, there is a hadith that

00:15:03--> 00:15:06

mentions that the people of Yemen and the

00:15:06--> 00:15:07

he says

00:15:07--> 00:15:08

that the prophet

00:15:09--> 00:15:12

would be pushing away crowds of people from

00:15:12--> 00:15:14

an hope. He pushes away crowds of people,

00:15:15--> 00:15:16

and he makes way for the people of

00:15:16--> 00:15:19

Yemen to come closer, and he strikes his

00:15:19--> 00:15:22

staff on the hold until eventually it gushes

00:15:22--> 00:15:24

and it bursts in their face, and it

00:15:24--> 00:15:26

drenches them with the water from it. This

00:15:26--> 00:15:27

is a specialty that

00:15:29--> 00:15:31

gave for the people of Yemen. Why why

00:15:31--> 00:15:33

are the people of the Yemen, the first

00:15:33--> 00:15:35

to drink from it after

00:15:35--> 00:15:36

or after

00:15:37--> 00:15:38

Because the people of Yemen, who who are

00:15:38--> 00:15:39

they?

00:15:42--> 00:15:43

And who's the other group?

00:15:43--> 00:15:46

Al Ansar. Al Ansar originally are people from

00:15:46--> 00:15:48

Yemen. And also,

00:15:49--> 00:15:51

these two tribes make up Al Ansar.

00:15:51--> 00:15:53

When Ansar end up in Madina how did

00:15:53--> 00:15:54

they end up in Madina?

00:15:55--> 00:15:57

What happened in Yemen, there was a,

00:15:58--> 00:16:00

the dam the dam burst, and there was

00:16:00--> 00:16:02

a huge flood that happened.

00:16:02--> 00:16:04

Allah recalls and mentions this story in the

00:16:04--> 00:16:05

Quran.

00:16:07--> 00:16:08

Right?

00:16:11--> 00:16:13

It's mentioned in the hadith and in the

00:16:13--> 00:16:15

in the history of the tariq. Fire exploded,

00:16:15--> 00:16:18

burst, and it filled the entire land with

00:16:18--> 00:16:19

water. You couldn't live there anymore.

00:16:21--> 00:16:23

2 tribes that lived in Yemen picked themselves

00:16:23--> 00:16:25

up and they took off until they reached

00:16:25--> 00:16:28

Al Madina. Once they reached Al Madina, they

00:16:28--> 00:16:30

settled there. Well, yeah. And this is why

00:16:30--> 00:16:31

they are considered the Ansar,

00:16:32--> 00:16:34

and this is why the Al Ansar, meaning

00:16:34--> 00:16:35

they're the ones that supported and aided and

00:16:35--> 00:16:36

helped Rasulullah

00:16:38--> 00:16:40

They're the ones that provided for him a

00:16:40--> 00:16:41

room and a house and a space for

00:16:41--> 00:16:44

him to come, and an opportunity to to

00:16:44--> 00:16:46

build his dawah in in in Madinah.

00:16:46--> 00:16:49

For because of this and and and, the

00:16:49--> 00:16:51

people of Yemen, they entered Islam without any

00:16:51--> 00:16:53

war, without any battle, and they aided and

00:16:53--> 00:16:55

supported the Islam more than anyone else. So

00:16:55--> 00:16:56

they had this speciality

00:16:57--> 00:16:59

that they were, Yani, put forth on the

00:16:59--> 00:17:02

hold before anyone else, and they came after

00:17:02--> 00:17:03

Yani al Muhaajiri.

00:17:04--> 00:17:05

This is,

00:17:06--> 00:17:08

in regards to those who first drink from

00:17:08--> 00:17:10

it. And then the more pious and pious

00:17:10--> 00:17:13

after that, until the one least with iman

00:17:13--> 00:17:15

is the last one to drink from.

00:17:17--> 00:17:19

And the final question that we answer on

00:17:19--> 00:17:21

this, and that is who will be turned

00:17:21--> 00:17:23

away from the haud of Rasool Allah sallahu

00:17:23--> 00:17:25

alaihi wa sallam? Well, here here there's something

00:17:25--> 00:17:26

very important to mention.

00:17:27--> 00:17:30

Number 1, those who left Islam after the

00:17:30--> 00:17:31

death of Rasool Allah sahu alaihi wa sallam

00:17:31--> 00:17:32

from the companions.

00:17:33--> 00:17:35

There are companions that left Islam

00:17:36--> 00:17:38

after the death of Rasool Allah SWA. They're

00:17:38--> 00:17:40

the ones that refused to pay zakat,

00:17:41--> 00:17:43

who fought them and he killed from them

00:17:43--> 00:17:44

some, And some of them lived, and some

00:17:44--> 00:17:47

of them made tawba and came back. These

00:17:47--> 00:17:49

are the first that is mentioned by those

00:17:49--> 00:17:51

that will be turned away from.

00:17:51--> 00:17:52

Number 2, the hypocrites.

00:17:53--> 00:17:54

And they are people that lived in Madinah

00:17:54--> 00:17:55

at the time of Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa

00:17:55--> 00:17:58

sallam, and they witnessed Islam. But internally, they

00:17:58--> 00:17:59

hid their

00:17:59--> 00:18:01

and their disbelief, and they again would be

00:18:01--> 00:18:03

resurrected on the day of judgment. And they're

00:18:03--> 00:18:05

awarded, and they turned away from.

00:18:06--> 00:18:07

And number 3,

00:18:07--> 00:18:09

those who innovated in the religion,

00:18:10--> 00:18:11

whether they innovated

00:18:12--> 00:18:14

in the matters of belief, in matters,

00:18:15--> 00:18:18

or whether they innovated in matters of worship.

00:18:19--> 00:18:21

Whether in this or in that, these are

00:18:21--> 00:18:23

considered on the day of judgment innovators

00:18:26--> 00:18:27

and they are removed from the and they

00:18:27--> 00:18:29

turned away from the

00:18:30--> 00:18:31

Oh, this

00:18:32--> 00:18:34

is why my brothers and sisters in Islam,

00:18:34--> 00:18:35

we should be careful.

00:18:36--> 00:18:39

Yeah. When we say that we're Muslims

00:18:42--> 00:18:44

and we follow you know, being steadfast upon

00:18:44--> 00:18:45

the deen of Allah

00:18:47--> 00:18:50

is not just about praying and fasting and

00:18:50--> 00:18:52

salat and zakat. It's not just about that.

00:18:52--> 00:18:55

Being steadfast upon the deen of

00:18:56--> 00:18:57

involves three things.

00:18:58--> 00:18:59

Being steadfast in matters

00:19:00--> 00:19:02

of so that you do not alter and

00:19:02--> 00:19:04

you do not change anything of that and

00:19:04--> 00:19:06

you understand and you take your aqeedah from

00:19:06--> 00:19:08

the Quran and sunnah. And, Yeah. And from

00:19:08--> 00:19:10

the explanation of the salaf, which is the

00:19:10--> 00:19:12

first three generations that came after Rasulullah

00:19:13--> 00:19:15

Number 1. That's that that means we're steadfast

00:19:15--> 00:19:18

in the deen. Number 2, in matters of

00:19:18--> 00:19:20

worship as well. So you remain consistent and

00:19:20--> 00:19:22

committed on your salat, in fasting,

00:19:23--> 00:19:25

with if you're able to, and,

00:19:26--> 00:19:27

and and the rest of the good deeds

00:19:27--> 00:19:29

that we're taught to do. And number 3,

00:19:29--> 00:19:30

steadfast upon

00:19:31--> 00:19:32

which is character

00:19:33--> 00:19:34

and morals and manners that the Muslim is

00:19:34--> 00:19:36

supposed to have. And why do we mention

00:19:36--> 00:19:36

this?

00:19:37--> 00:19:38

Steadfastness

00:19:38--> 00:19:40

must be in these three things. And I'll

00:19:40--> 00:19:42

prove to you how this is. When the

00:19:42--> 00:19:42

prophet

00:19:44--> 00:19:46

and listen, this is the very important point

00:19:46--> 00:19:47

that would actually prove

00:19:48--> 00:19:49

what was mentioned by

00:19:50--> 00:19:52

When the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam described

00:19:52--> 00:19:53

al Khawarij.

00:19:53--> 00:19:54

Who are al Khawarij?

00:19:55--> 00:19:57

Al Khawarij are a sect

00:19:57--> 00:19:59

that innovated in their belief.

00:19:59--> 00:20:02

When Nabi salallahu alaihi wasallam described the

00:20:02--> 00:20:04

to us Sahaba, not to be a new.

00:20:04--> 00:20:06

And he described them to the Sahaba, He

00:20:06--> 00:20:07

said to the Sahaba,

00:20:12--> 00:20:13

He said to the sahabah

00:20:15--> 00:20:17

that you people would belittle your salat

00:20:18--> 00:20:20

in comparison to the salat of the Hawarij,

00:20:21--> 00:20:24

and you would belittle your fasting in comparison

00:20:24--> 00:20:26

to the fasting of

00:20:26--> 00:20:27

Al

00:20:28--> 00:20:30

Hawaris? Is saying, so

00:20:30--> 00:20:32

when you when you compare the Sahabi to

00:20:32--> 00:20:34

a Hawaris person,

00:20:34--> 00:20:37

then the this person of Al Hawari, he

00:20:37--> 00:20:39

prays a lot more than the Sahabi.

00:20:39--> 00:20:41

And he fasts much more than the Sahabi.

00:20:42--> 00:20:44

And he reads Quran much more than Musahabi.

00:20:45--> 00:20:46

So this guy has got it good in

00:20:46--> 00:20:49

his worship. Except that when the prophet sallallahu

00:20:49--> 00:20:51

alaihi wa sallam described them, he

00:20:52--> 00:20:54

said, that they're the dogs of the hellfire.

00:20:55--> 00:20:57

Why? This teaches you that it wasn't only

00:20:57--> 00:21:00

a matter of remaining steadfast on your worship.

00:21:00--> 00:21:03

Your and your belief should have been steadfast

00:21:03--> 00:21:05

and right as well, and your character should

00:21:05--> 00:21:07

have been steadfast and right as well.

00:21:07--> 00:21:09

This hadith is very important, and it teaches

00:21:09--> 00:21:10

us

00:21:11--> 00:21:12

that still ended up in jahannam

00:21:12--> 00:21:16

because the issue isn't just doing righteous actions.

00:21:16--> 00:21:18

It was about a methodology that you are

00:21:18--> 00:21:20

are supposed to follow word for word.

00:21:18--> 00:21:20

are supposed to follow word for word.
